12 Step Store: Our 12 step store, Genesis Books, was founded in Las Vegas in 1993 to provide the Las Vegas community with a true 12 step store providing resources and twelve step gifts for the recovering alcoholics in AA and their friends and families in Al-Anon. Today, the Genesis Books 12 step store is not only a physical store , but also an online store offering assistance to AA (Alcoholics Anonymous) based 12 step programs such as: Narcotics Anonymous, Overeaters Anonymous, Gamblers Anonymous, Cocaine Anonymous, Sex and Lust Anonymous, Emotions Anonymous, Co-Dependents Anonymous, and Adult Children of Alcoholics.

Our 12 step gifts are all gifts of friendship, serenity, growth, love, peace and respect that friends can share with recovering people using the 12 steps, and help those people by saying …"Yes, we support and love you". 12 step gifts are gifts of encouragement.

As an important 12 step recovery store world-wide, we have become a clearing house of self help, personal growth, recovery, wellness books, tools and 12 step information for those in Las Vegas, as well as people around the world who visit Las Vegas and return home with our gifts, love, experience, strength and hope.

We have a big selection of 12 step resources with only about 1/3 of it on our website so we welcome you to stop into the store and visit us. Our store has a soothing store environment, with a relaxing “spa experience” type of feel. Soft pleasing colors and design, meditative music, comfortable chairs for perusing books, complimentary coffee and tea for our visitors with no “buying pressure” and helpful, knowledgeable staff, most of whom are in 12 step recovery programs.

We offer “conference approved literature” as well as products from Hazelden, Hay House, Health Communications, Abbey Press, Peter Stone, and many other internationally recognized distributors as well as from local and international artists? We also encourage visitors to sign up for our exclusive rewards program. You will receive coupons for discounts, notifications about book signings and other special events in the store.
